Athlete registry

Promote face clusters to named athletes — see every album they appear in.

Face detection groups similar faces into clusters within an album. Promoting a cluster to a registered athlete gives the face a name + makes the match cross-album.

  1. Open the album's People tab. Click a cluster.
  2. In the cluster panel, type the athlete's name + click Save as athlete. They appear in the global People destination.
  3. Click any registered athlete to open their edit modal. Below the form, the Appears in panel lists every album they appear in with photo counts.
  4. Click an album row to jump to it.

Reference photos: in the athlete edit modal, the Reference photos field pins a curated set of canonical photos. The cross-album matcher anchors on these.
