Connect Instagram
The Socials area has tabs across the top — Posts · Review · Scheduled · History · Analytics · Accounts. Open the Accounts tab and click Connect Instagram to authorise SnapFlow through Meta. You can connect up to five accounts.
Business or Creator account required
Instagram only allows publishing from a Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page. A personal account can't post via the API — switch it in the Instagram app first (Settings → Account type).
Post Stories from an album
The fastest path: open an album, select photos, and choose Post to Stories. Add an optional caption and pick how the frame fits a 9:16 Story — original (letterboxed) or a smart crop — and each selected photo posts as its own Story.
Auto-post a live event
When Live delivery is on you can have new frames post themselves. On the album's Edit → Workflows page, under Auto Instagram, pick the account and set:
- Minimum rating — only auto-post photos at or above a star rating, so only your keepers go out.
- Story crop — original or smart 9:16.
- Tag accounts — @handles to tag in each Story (e.g. the athletes, the sponsor).

Feed posts, carousels & tips
From the Posts tab's composer you can build richer posts:
- Single posts and carousels — pick photos, then Generate caption to get caption options written from your brand voice and past top performers.
- Tips carousel — a multi-slide "5 tips for…" post. Give a topic and let AI draft every slide, or write them yourself and click Improve tip to polish any slide's wording.
- Reels — build a reel from photos with music, or upload a video.
AI captions need consent
Caption and tip generation send content to our AI provider. Enable AI processing in your profile first (see Account, storage & billing) — it's a one-time GDPR consent tick.
Review, schedule & history
- Review — your drafts. Each card shows the photo(s), caption and account, with Approve, Edit and Delete. Approving publishes now or holds for its scheduled time.
- Scheduled — posts queued for a future time.
- History — what's gone out, with status (posted / failed, with a Retry on failures) and, for feed posts, analytics: impressions, reach, likes, saves and comments. Refresh analytics re-pulls the latest from Meta. Posts you made directly in the Instagram app can be pulled in with Sync history.
Reels coach
When you work with reels, SnapFlow's reels coach (Get coach insights) analyses your recent reels and tells you what's holding viewers — hooks, length, drop-off patterns — as plain advice you can act on for the next one.
From shoot to feed
For a live event: connect your account, turn on Auto Instagram with a minimum rating so only keepers post, and let Stories flow as you shoot. After the event, build a carousel or tips post from the best frames, check History to see what landed, and let the reels coach sharpen your next one.
